This month, our focus turns to the inspired journey of Anna Vouzouneraki and her creation, HairGoals. Through our "Women Support Women" campaign, we aim to highlight the narratives of women who have shown the courage to follow their dreams and secure their place in the business world. Anna embodies this idea, proving how a love for innovation and persistence can transform into a successful and dynamic business reality.

Question:
We would like to know your personal story! What made you decide to start your own business? Was it a childhood dream or a sudden idea?

Answer:
My vision has always been to make women happy, radiant, and full of confidence, something I discovered from my childhood. The truth is it wasn't a childhood dream to start my own business. That came along the way as I didn't want to set a limit for myself.

Question:
Can you tell us a few words about your company? What are its core values?

Answer:
At HAIRGOALS, or as we like to call it, the TEMPLE (as our hairgoalists say), we give women the opportunity to see the best version of themselves and their hair. Our core values are passion, creativity, inventiveness, and empathy, but above all, love, love for humanity.

Question:
What challenges did you face as a woman owning your own business, and how did you overcome them? Is there a specific story you would like to share?

Answer:
I am someone who strongly believes in female entrepreneurship. Women have many skills. However, I think that in 2024 it's a mistake to separate entrepreneurship because at the end of the day, it's all one! Fortunately, at least in my circle, women entrepreneurs not only create but also achieve their goals and change society for the better.

Question:
Is there a moment in your career that made you very proud?

Answer:
To tell you the truth, there have been quite a few moments that made me proud. Mostly, I am proud of myself for managing to overcome every challenge. I don't stop until I achieve each of my goals.

Question:
What advice would you give to women who want to start their own business?

Answer:
The secret to succeeding in the world of entrepreneurship is to start what you love and to continuously do it with love. If you start a business just to make money, it won't succeed. At this point, I want to share that a mentor of mine greatly helped me by saying, "When the time comes to leave this world, who will you hold accountable? For the risks you didn't take? For the dreams you didn't fulfill? Yourself! What will you say to yourself then?" Go ahead, take risks, and don't be afraid. Life doesn't wait!

Question:
Finally, we would like to know what the phrase "women support women," the title of this year's campaign, means to you?

Answer:
Solidarity!

As we conclude Anna Vouzouneraki's story and HairGoals, it's crucial to recognize the value of mutual support and collaboration among us. The "Women Support Women" campaign reaffirms the importance of community and our collective struggle for progress and growth.
