People are experiencing some of their most difficult times and are literally in a war zone. What does this mean for a people whose country is being bombed? He loses precious goods and becomes vulnerable and open to suggestions of salvation that he finds hope.

The term Human Trafficking in Greece has been well known for years and broadcasts and countless studies have been dedicated to what drives the "victims" to close such agreements. The reason? Usually pecuniary and among all the lack of knowledge and selfless trust in strangers. But what is human trafficking really?

Human trafficking has been going on quite a long time ago, even before the time of America's slaves, when Kings "sold" their wives for a night with the enemy. Over the years of course it took on enormous dimensions and of course with the evolution of man the trade in human beings evolved. It is practically an evolved form of slavery.

The victims? Women, children but also men who could carry out a purpose, money, and agreements. From the slaves of New Orleans to the women of Eastern and Asian cultures who were called to satisfy strange "wants", today human trafficking has spread even on the internet or rather its illegal version with victims of all sexes and ages.

Today in 2022, and with everything that is happening in neighbouring Ukraine, the competent authorities are appealing for those who cross the border to keep an eye on women alone or with children as well as suspiciously small groups of men who find a foothold to act.
