Hey NoThinker! February is here and I know that you’re probably already searching for your new favorite TV-show to start your month right! Well, things can be pretty wild out there when there are so many options to pick from. How can you resist, when there’s so many cool stuff being released every month. But that’s why we’re here to navigate through this TV-series chaos with our fave ones for this month (and every month to come!).

Are you ready for this ride?

1. Euphoria

I’m usually trying to be democratic, but this time I won’t be. This show is the real HYPE. Season 2 is out and if you haven’t already watched season 1 then simply go watch it NOW! It’s a messy and unapologetically brilliant story that’s gonna get you up and down an emotional rollercoaster. It’s quite relatable to the current generation as it does not shy away from topics such as drugs, emotional abuse and sexuality.
Plot: A group of high school students struggle with drugs, love, social media and money as they come of age while trying to establish their identity.

2. Nine Perfect Strangers

I was really excited when this show came out since it’s based on the book of Liane Moriarty (Big Little Lies). And I can say I found it really refreshing and enjoyable. The acting and the storyline in this is amazing! I loved how the show deals with grief, low self-esteem, marital challenges, aging, avoidance and in the end healing. It makes it easy to relate with each character and their struggles.
Plot: Nine stressed city dwellers visit a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation. The resort's director is a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine "perfect" strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.

3. Normal People

This is definitely not your regular feel-good romance TV-series. I was skeptic to start this series since there was so much hype about the book it’s based on. But I’m actually glad I did. It’s an unconventional, emotionally raw and sometimes awkward love story between two young people who find meaning and transcendence in a relationship despite their mistakes and inability to quiet the noise in their heads. Definitely a show that you should give a watch!
Plot: Follows Marianne and Connell, from different backgrounds but the same small town in Ireland, as they weave in and out of each other's romantic lives.

4. Only Murders in the Building

Moving on to something lighter, this comedy show was really fun! Full of twists and turns and silly jokes, this is the show to watch if you wanna keep things nice and breezy!
Plot: Upper West Side neighbors Charles, Oliver, and Mabel bond over a shared love of true crime; when a fellow resident dies in their building, the trio determine to solve the mystery.

5. The Night Of

This is probably one of the TV-series that has probably slipped from your watchlist for some years now and it’s about time to add it if you’re a fan of the crime genre. It is truly a brilliant, thrilling and at the same time heart-crushing story. The acting and the cinematography are incredibly strong too. Remember this: You’re about to get hooked!
Plot: After a night of partying with a woman he picked up, a man wakes up to find her stabbed to death and is charged with her murder.

6. The Undoing

Another show with Nicole Kidman as the main lead on our list. We love her and can’t hide it! And in this show she was great once again! This is definitely your show if you’re craving for a dose of mystery and plenty of drama.
Plot: A modern twist to a classical "whodunnit" tale, when the life of a wealthy New York therapist turns upside down after she and her family get involved with a murder case.

7. Peaky Blinders

By the order of the Peaky Blinders, this show could not be missed from our list. The final season is FINALLY coming out in 2022 after 3 years of delay and I could not be more excited! If you didn’t guess already, I am a loyal fan of this TV-series for years now. How could I not be? It has literally everything you need in a show: Gangsters, Guns, Love, Drama, Crime, Plot twists and of course Thomas Shelby! If you’re still not familiar with this series, it’s the right time to catch up before the last season is out.
Plot: A gangster family epic set in 1900s England, centering on a gang who sew razor blades in the peaks of their caps, and their fierce boss Tommy Shelby.

8. Dexter: New Blood

And our last pick concerns the good old and new fans of Dexter. Nobody thought that we would miss this antihero but after the first episode of this new show it all came rushing back. This continuation of our favourite serial killer didn’t disappoint one bit and turned out as a pleasant surprise.
Plot: For the past decade, Dexter has assimilated into small-town life as a beloved member of the Iron Lake community; when a local hotshot begins behaving recklessly, he questions whether he can continue to suppress the murderous urgings.

Enjoy the Show!
