Today's question is this: Christmas without Christmas movies? It can't be! It's that time of year when you'll be snuggling up on your sofa with hot chocolate and watch your favorite Christmas movies alone or with your loved ones. Today the No Thinkin Team has movie recommendations for you, for every tastes.

For the romantic ones

Holidate

The movie focuses on Sloane, a young woman who is tired of being asked about her personal life. So when she meets Jackson by chance, they agree to accompany her to family gatherings and all the big holidays of the year. But things take a different turn as these two get to know each other better. Starring Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey. The two protagonists have chemistry and the film develops delightfully, with a nice pace and unexpected humor, scenes and sayings that catch you off guard.

Single all the way

Finally, Netflix's first gay romantic comedy “Single All the Way” promises to change the traditionally straight genre of movies. The film centers around Peter and Nick, best friends and roommates in Los Angeles. The two have always kept their relationship platonic. Peter brings Nick to his home in New Hampshire for the holidays. He plans to lie about Nick being his relationship, to show his family that he can have a real relationship. But when Peter's mother, Carol, tries to "woo" him out of the spin class, both Peter and Nick are forced to confront how they really feel about each other.

For the classic ones

Elf

In the movie we meet Buddy, a boy who grew up next to Santa Claus. When he was little he hid in one of the gift bags and Santa Claus accidentally took him with him to the North Pole. There he was adopted by an elf and tried to join their society and work in the magical toy workshop. In vain, however, as he grew older his human nature showed and he almost destroyed the laboratory with his carelessness! So he decides to return to the human world to find his real parents and pass on the Christmas spirit to them...

Bad Santa

He drinks, smokes, swears incessantly. He likes to provoke with his inappropriate behavior, he hates small children, he doesn't shout 'ho, ho, ho'. He robs the malls he frequents with his partner disguised as a reindeer! Will Stokes is not Santa Claus in the classic sense of the term. He's a safe burglar who makes a big splash every year on Christmas Eve. When the department store's customers leave for their homes, Santa Claus and his resourceful dwarf partner in crime, Marcus, become an unbeatable duo. They open the safe of the respective department store and escape having obtained a not inconsiderable festive bonanza. The trick works perfectly as in the general atmosphere no one suspects them.

For the animation lovers

Ice Age: a mammoth Christmas

The beloved herd of mammoths is busy with Christmas decorations. Uncle Sid, in his attempt to help, destroys Mani's beloved stone. Manny gets so upset that he tells Sid that he is on Santa's naughty list. So Sid and his gang decide to go to the North Pole and find Santa Claus, to get him off this list. And so the adventure begins...

Klaus

Jesper is a spoiled rich kid and the worst cadet at the Postal Academy. His father will try to set him on the right path by placing him at the northernmost point of civilization, on the island of Smeerensburg. His mission is to smuggle 6000 letters before the end of time or he will be dispossessed of his family's inheritance. In this city, however, live two rival factions, whose conflict reverberates through the ages. Under this inhospitable atmosphere, he discovers that no one exchanges letters here, only cufflinks. When he meets, by chance, Klaus the lumberjack of the community and sees his talent as a toy maker, a plan will begin to form in his mind that will allow him to escape this awful place. But a lot will change along the way...

So these were our recommendations for Christmas movies. We hope you enjoy them and they help you get (if you haven't already) into the Christmas spirit.
