Is it just that you're still in Athens and your coagulation in your routine until you go on vacation? Is it just that you really like watching shows and movies? We are here to recommend some of the must see series and movies where most have just been released on Netflix.

Movies:

Cruella .Disney's most famous Villain comes back to life on the big screen in a more modern and darker version! After Glen Close's super successful performance as the first no-cartoon Cruella De Vil, Emma Stone has another career-marking role. In a more diverse version, the "new" Cruella gives air modern Disney villain.

Framing Britney. A documentary you certainly shouldn't miss, especially if you've closely watched Britney Spears' case of patriarchy. She and her $60 million estate are entirely owned by her father, who daily exerts pressure and violence on his daughter and by decision of the U.S. court is under the custody of James Spears. The court battle, exclusive footage and Britney's entire secret life off stage unfold in a documentary without a happy ending, as the court's most recent decision in July 2021 was to continue Britney Spears' Conservatorship by her father.

Game night. What's better than a night gathering with friends and board games? Max and Annie wanted to spend an evening like this, but unexpected events changed the game night! Getting out of the ordinary, one of their friends challenges them with a mystery game full of kidnappings, thugs and undercover agents. You'll laugh a lot, and you can easily relax as it's a classic American delightful comedy.

Promising Young Woman. A young girl seeks atonement from her traumatic past and allows herself into paths that end in traps and wanneb exploiters. Emerald Fennell is making her directorial debut, a film that brilliantly and subversively turns the weapons of patriarchy against society. The film almost clearly addresses the violence and patriarchal exploitation where it often leads even to trafficking something that to this day many women experience.

Series

Lupin. A French series that just premiered its second season and is about to rivet you. The story about a profound thief who achieves what no one could. But life's wheel spinning fast thus he is unpredictable and so he is deeply involved. Overlooking Paris, French comedy meets suspense in a very different heist.

Elite.Season 4 has just premiered, and Las Escinas is full of new kids. New characters connected to the old ones; events that make relationships change but a murder again becomes the focus of the school.

Better Call Saul. If you've seen Breaking Bad then you'll surely remember this guy! Now with his own show, Saul is a much clever American attorney. With a dose of comedy and something reminiscent of Suits, Better Call Saul is the defense attorney you'd definitely like to have.

Explained. This is a documentary series where, as the title says, everything is explained. Everything you can think of now has an explanation and a history. For example, money, dreams, the human mind, relationships, thoughts. All this is explained very intelligently and creatively through half-hour individual episodes that you can see even on the holiday trip!

The Virgin River. It is now amongst the top series of Netflix and not unfairly as it is an original series as the script is based on Robyn Carr's book series of the same name, the rights of which Netflix has secured. It's a classic romantic American comedy - yes, we know you need something more romantic sometimes - where Melinda, an experienced nurse from Los Angeles, decides to make a fresh start. So, he responds to an online ad for the nurse's position at the health center of Virgin River, a provincial town in the forests of northern California. The place seems ideal and, most importantly, is far enough away from what it wants to forget. However, things are not so rosy, and Mel encounters many difficulties which she overcomes with her fortitude and the help of the charming Jack where the tangle of love and weaknesses unfolds.
